Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of YVI's mobile applications and website (the "Service"), operated by YKA Global ("YVI," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately atsupport@getyvi.com of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another user, including within communities or group chats.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the Service's backend systems or another user's account.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service's availability.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in YVI (journal entries, courses, community posts, etc.). By posting content visible to other users (e.g., a public community post or a shared course), you grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of your private content (journal entries, private habits) and do not use it to train third-party AI models without your consent.

5. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

YVI provides tools for habit tracking, fitness logging, and general wellness guidance, including AI-generated coaching content. YVI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, fitness regimen, or mental well-being. Content from the AI Coach is generated based on your tracked data and general knowledge, and may be incomplete or incorrect — use your own judgment.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our website payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, through the platform where you subscribed. Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform through which you purchased (Apple or Google), except where required otherwise by law.

7. YVI Points & Future Token Program

YVI Points are an in-app rewards mechanism with no cash value and are not a currency, security, or financial instrument. They cannot be sold, transferred for cash, or redeemed outside the Service. Any future "YVI Token" program, if launched, will be governed by separate terms disclosed at that time.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to other users, or if required by law.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YVI AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
